Glasgow Series cabinetry draws from the works and ideas of the Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and the Finnish architect Eliel Saarinen.
Its basis is the counterpoint between the powerful thrust of vertical pilasters and the lyrical curves and sweeps of the horizontal elements set between them. It is clear, crisp, clean, and timelessly modern, yet supported by a vocabulary of detail that enriches and clarifies its form. It distills the languages of form, proportion, rhythm, and detail of the Gothic cathedral and early Modern skyscraper to their essence, expressed in the form of the finest craft built cabinetry.
Glasgow brings the grace, beauty, strength and symbolic meaning of inspired architecture to the residential interior. Its versatility makes it equally at home in a city apartment building or a farmhouse in the countryside.
Rooted in history but freshly innovative, Glasgow creates a bridge between old and new, craft and machine, simultaneously satisfying our taste for pure form and our yearning for the warmth of tradition.
