In tandem with his career as a designer, Scott has pursued a lifelong compulsion to draw. Working mostly in dry media, pen and ink, pastels and watercolors, he draws and paints to vent his emotions, for the experience of seeing the world reveal its layers, to understand how natural phenomena are connected, and to interpret those observations in the form of art. He regards doing it as affirmation of being alive, aware, and filled with awe and wonder.
