After doing the kitchen and other major spaces on the ground floor of an extensive remodeling project, the client asked me to convert a large finished basement into a multi-purpose recreation space for her teenage daughter, with a young and colorful vibe in contrast with the more quiet and formal character of the rooms upstairs.

The full bathroom (shown here nearing completion) pulls out all the stops with color and non-repeating tile pattern. It includes a floating vanity done in my “Thin Inset” series for longtime collaborator Premier Custom-Built cabinetry.
